They kinda whiffed it with this one. I'm not against changing up the WarioWare formula, but having all microgames be controlled by little platformer characters doesn't quite hit the same. It feels like I'm one layer abstracted from what's going on, because every microgame essentially uses the same controls. I think the fact that all the games needed to be able to be completed by all the different characters constrained their creativity somewhat.

It would be cool to one day see a simultaneous multiplayer WarioWare game in the traditional style! This ain't it. This game feels super short to complete. That might be because of the lack of variety, samey artwork, and the totally forgettable story.

The unlockable character palettes are cool but the system where you have to feed the characters the right food to win prizes just felt quite grindy and repetitive. There are some good things about WarioWare: Get It Together, but I don't really remember what they are.

What can I say? This game made me a hater.

The true irony of this game is that, following it's release, Pyoro was so enraged by starring in such a mediocre game that he started leaking future Nintendo releases on Twitter. Sad, really.
