I love the Mortal Kombat games. Coming off of MK11 in 2019 MK1 had some tough shoes to fill, and I think they did a pretty decent job doing that. The game is highly enjoyable in my opinion. There is a lot to do offline and online. I like invasions, I loved the story, and I love playing online. My only issue is the sort of lack of balance with characters. Overall, a pretty awesome game.
