Addressed my biggest issues with Breath of the Wild and even some I didn't know I had. The game has so much more variety; it follows a similar template to BoTW but everything is so much better. Side quests are much more interesting and feel like mini storylines instead of chores. More standard enemies, more boss fights, all of the combat shrines are unique challenges instead of the same enemy, the abilities are so much more fun to use and actually can be used in tandem with each other to solve problems in creative ways, the building system is enough of a game on it's own for some people. This game does have it's own set of problems though, but they didn't bother me too much. The story was much more involved in this one, but the way it was told is a bit lackluster. The most frustrating thing for me was learning about the imposter Zelda as well as the fate of the real Zelda, and then Link somehow forgetting to mention this critical information to the NPCs anytime it comes up in conversation (the main quest is literally called "Find Princess Zelda"). Also, can we talk about that part with the mech suit? I actually felt like I would have been better off on foot. The boss fight was alright at least. Overall though, a phenomenal sequel.
