Decent game. Has a nice artstyle and a fun enough combat system. The music wasn't bad but none of it was really up my alley or particularly memorable and some of it just felt like noise so the enemies could have hectic attacks. It felt good to dodge the attacks and return them in the 2nd half of the game and some of the fights had really neat visual effects but it really got tiring on the eyes at times. The story had a few nice moments like the DnD game but for the most part I disliked the writing. The game apes undertale way too hard with its specific brand of "quirky" characters and their generally unfunny one-liners. In the end it failed to endear me to any of the characters which made the guilt-tripping after the tonal shift very ineffective and I physically cringed when one of the characters told me to "refund the game". That being said, I think the idea of the story and how it tackles stuff like the fear and acceptance of death is pretty interesting. I just wish it was handled well.
