I knew when I played it that it was probably gonna be one of my favourite games of the year and so far that's remained true. An amazing remake of my favourite horror game ever looking phenomenal with enough story edits to expand just enough to not tread on what came before. The environmental changes are also a welcome addition tying the entire Ishimura together instead of going chapter by chapter makes things more cohesive and makes backtracking more satisfying.
