Does not hold up from my childhood. Just a basic Mario platformer with a coin gimmick that is purely aesthetic and doesn't actually adhere to any gameplay beyond making your coin counter go up. Doesn't get challenging until the very end, and I swear the physics are off. I don't have these moments where I slide off small platforms or completely eat jump inputs like I did with the console New Mario games.
