The gameplay loop is pretty standard. Solve some randomized puzzles with magical girl powers to earn gems. Use the number of gems you have to negotiate for better wages, time off, or otherwise. Use those wages + time off to build up social links, which will improve your abilities. Rinse, repeat. Its kind of addicting but it definitely becomes draining the second you start to get close to the ending.

The story... exists! Magical girl unionizing is fun in concept and the writing does attempt to spotlight various financial struggles and woes here and there. But its also just a little too... cozy. Soft and cuddly and conflict free. Effortlessly clowning on capitalists and bigots and so on. I guess I want stronger character writing from these stories, showing how hard these fights really are.

But on the other hand, who the fuck am I, right? Its a magical girl strategy game, not Kentucky Route Zero. Look at this pretentious asshole who wrote all that, I mean wowza.
