An existential exploration game about the tree of life and what you can feed it to decide the fate of the world.

Was having kind of an existentially exhausting night to begin with, with plenty of anxieties and frustrations building up and needing something easy to latch onto. Despite how its story may present itself, it provides exactly the sort of soothing feeling I needed in that moment. For how lofty its premise is, its central experience is just exploring gorgeous PS1 aesthetics for something to give the tree. Whatever you give the tree creates a different ending, each offering a philosophical idea of how your decision impacted the universe. It probably only takes about an hour or so to try different combinations and create your endings, but its a soothing sort of busywork, draped in a surreal atmosphere. Its a tone piece more than anything and the craft built towards that tone is exquisite.

Everyone is a skeleton now.
