A pretty great 3d zelda that I enjoyed replaying after not having touched the game since my childhood. The game's pacing is mostly pretty smooth, leading from dungeon to dungeon with diversions that are generally pretty fun. Some areas, especially the revisits can really bring down the pacing. The third visit to the woods is a complete boring slog, and the second visit to the volcano is very tedious thanks to an escort quest. However, all the desert visits are pretty great. The dungeons are all good, without any noticeably weaker ones. The Ancient Cistern and sandship are particularly fun. Some areas between dungeons are tedious and feel a bit like padding. That's basically the main problem with the game, it frequently interrupts fun stuff with random bits of tedium. It doesn't drag it down too much, but it is worth noting. Music's good too, and the game looks pretty nice. Although the 'HD' version is pretty unimpressive. It really just looks like the original wii version being run through an emulator. It's not as strong as twilight princess or majora's mask, but it's still pretty great.
