I fucking love Ar Tonelico II. The plot, the theming, the battle system, the world, the music, the aesthetic, everything is extremely good. (For reference, I played Luca route and got 2/3 main endings). PLEASE play the retranslation and not the original. It gives proper respect to the original game by translating the game better than the original (there are numerous localization issues including changing names that were meaningful in the in-universe language hymnos) and also fixes the bugs that were introduced with the translation like the raki bug that makes the game crash on the last normal boss unless you kill it fast enough (Thanks NISA LMAO)
I do have to say that this game has some problems and there are ways that it could be improved, but it's still this good.
