"Halo with portal mechanics" sounds like a great elevator pitch, which is the primary thing Splitgate uses to entice its ever-increasing playerbase. As someone who was morbidly curious about this said pitch, I jumped in expecting something interesting, and Splitgate delivered on that.

I'm definitely putting more time into Splitgate as it continues to receive updates, but I'm still unaware if it has any staying power for me. With the new Halo releasing later this year (and the fact I can only really focus on one infinite "live service" game at a time), I'm just not sure if Splitgate is going to hold my attention. Nonetheless, that's still four months away so it's time for more Splitgate, babeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!
