Borderlands 3 is best played while talking to someone else so you barely pay attention to the awful story but enjoy its stellar presentation and gameplay. If you don't have friends, listen to a podcast or have YouTube going in the background. Either way, you really don't want to pay attention to this game beyond its gameplay, which is an understandable dealbreaker for many players - and understandably so.
