Unsurprisingly fun and a massive time-drain that's great for podcasts as well as during the height of a thumb injury which made analog stick gaming difficult. A right click and then wiggling around the mouse for a while, cleaning up large structures gave a simple, much-needed dopamine release.
How long can that dopamine release last, though? For as fun as PowerWash Simulator is, I've come to grips that it's a game I'm going to probably not finish, and if I do, it will be done over a long stretch of time.
Extended gameplay sessions of dragging over things over and over again is fun for a while, but the inherent simplicity in a concept like this means it outstays its welcome fast. According to the integrated HowLongToBeat stats on the PC Game Pass page, you're looking at a minimum of 40 hours to finish this game. For 40+ hours, there are far more mechanically engaging games I can spend that time in while I'm more "attentive." PowerWash Simulator will stand as an "after a long, awful day of work" kind of game until it's finished in the future... unless it leaves Game Pass before then.
