Your typical "flavor of the week" indie game about depression, yet GRIS stands above many of its contemporaries solely due to its masterful audio-visual aesthetics. If not for the phenomenal music and visuals, I doubt GRIS would be as highly regarded as it is, because mechanically, GRIS can get stale rather fast despite its short length, and can border on being a bit corny with its ultimately predictable narrative themes.
