Indigo Park is the new mascot horror sensation, its also free. This game had a decent history, starting off as a Garten of BanBan remake by a youtuber that never has done game development, challenging himself to remake BanBan in a week.

Then it evolved into it's own project. Which is Indigo Park, the game has been in the works, for around a year now. And, the success of this chapter, will determine if there will be, any new chapters.

Going into this, I wasn't thinking I was going to like it at all. Especially since so many people were hyping this up as a savior of Mascot Horror, and all these people talking so highly about it, made me want to dislike it, to prove these people wrong.

Well, I played it, and for a beginning chapter, to set things up, this is quite impressive, and quite good. The enviroments are amazing, and they realy use UE5 and Metahuman to the best abilities that they can right now, and they look good.

The animations are extremely fluid too, I would still say Poppy Playtime does have the better animations, but that game is made by an animation studio, so it makes sense.

All the characters are really cute, and are just adorable. Their monster designs are also quite well developed too, and all look interesting.

There's barely a story here, only thing set up is that it shut down, besides that there really is nothing else.

I like the openness of it, that you can freely explore areas, and find collectibles. Most of these games lock you into a certain path, so having one that allows you explore different buildings, different areas, on your own time, was greatly appreciated.

And that final chase was okay, it was very Poppy Playtime like, when you are chased by Huggy, though I do think that Huggy chase does far outclass this one, it was still alright.

Having the Mollie character get decapitated was actually a shock, and having its blood go everywhere, was really shocking. Because none of these games go into the bloodiness of it all, so I'm hoping this is a sign it will go into a more graphic direction.

This is good, check it out, and hopefully this can get a Chapter 2, and really give out its vision.

Overall: 7/10
