Just a better version of the first game which I thought was already good. Great combat that is expanded in ways that made it much more enjoyable for me, which made boss fights in particular in this game more enjoyable to me. There were a lot of boss fights I actually really enjoyed, including ones that are found in side missions which I was not expecting. This game had great set pieces too, and, of course, probably the best traversal system in gaming. It's hard to get bored just swinging around the city, and considering that makes up so much of what you do in this game it's hard to get bored playing this game. Story is good too, although I've never found the stories of these games to be the main appeal. I don't think they are masterpieces but they are certainly good.
