This is such a solid game, pixel art and overall retro visuals look great, music is awesome, characters are charming. Honestly my biggest complaint is the difficulty - I understand pits instantly killing you, but why spikes? Most of my deaths were thanks to spikes or pits, I rarely ever died because of losing my health to enemies. I know it sounds like a nitpick but it really makes the difficulty feel unbalanced. Anyway GO PLAY SHOVEL KNIGHT IT'S AWESOME
