Since the dawn of time, man has pondered the philosophical questions of life. Why do we exist? What is our purpose? Are we doomed to fail as a species? Is that a cat or a piece of bread? As I'm sure you will have noticed, the latter of these questions is far more complex and all-encompassing than the others. In truth, man has never known the real answer to cat or bread? Pilgrims searched the earth for thousands of years in search of the elusive answer. They went to the East, travelled to the West. They flew to the Moon and sent probes to Mars, but the answer was nowhere to be found. Yet, they had to keep searching. After all, it was clear solving the mystery of whether the object in view was a tamed feline or a combination of wheat-flower and yeast would unlock the answers we as a species have searched for since we developed sentience. Even with extreme developments in science, religion and philosophy, the answer still lay just out of reach; a whisper on the fleeting winds of time. That was until the 8th of May 2017. The day the world stopped. That's when IT arrived; the messiah, the chosen one, the sacred text that would be passed down through the generations and change human history for eternity. It baffled scientists, gave rise to new faiths and single-handedly inspired the entire future that lies in front of humanity. Through this short Russian masterpiece, we now officially can answer the world's most long-asked question... is that a cat or some bread? No longer does man accidentally place cheese and ham upon his small feline friend. No longer does he pet his cold, detached loaf of Hovis. He is free to understand the world, and for that, we must thank the next coming of christ: Cat Or Bread?
