It's because Backloggd has an weird "popular things are bad" mentality where any game that's massively loved by game critics are seen as utter shit by the community here. It's semi-understandable (I wouldn't give Skyrim, on it's own, without any mods, penis related or not, more than 3 stars), since a LOT of popular games actually kinda suck shit (I.E. Far Cry, Call Of Doody), but this one is considered one of them, for some reason. I think it's due to the dumb final act (with an forced escort mission and lame final boss) mixed with the dumb "HARVEST THE SISTER FOR POWAH OR BE UNDERPOW-Oh wait never mind she's giving you enough that you can still get the cool superpowers and not die, cool" thing, so people just decide in their head "yeah, this game sucks-throw it into the garbage." Even tho this game has still unmatched mood and visual style to this day imho.

I feel Infinite soured people on the entire franchise in the first place too imho. That game just has some weird as shit politics. In contrast to Bioshock and System Shock being more inoffensively negative on the evils of capitalism. Making a centerist comment on slave revolts is never a good idea.
