This game takes inspiration from games like Dark Souls and Zelda but makes it its own. The combat is always fun, but even the slower pace of solving puzzles was nice after taking down a wave of enemies. Some of the boss fights can feel similar, but they were still fun to master before finally beating them. The story starts off slow in my opinion, but towards the halfway point it really starts going and became one of the main driving forces for me to continue the game, rather than just the fun combat. And the ending definitely made me excited to play Survivor in the future.
