Absolutely killer game from start to finish, despite being a mix of two genres I'm usually lukewarm with at best, this game was extremely satisfying!
Everything syncing to the beat just puts you into a flow that I rarely feel out of these types of games, the rhythm mechanics fortunately aren't too intrusive if you're bad at it (I beat the game on hard mode with barely ever getting over a C rank in timing, I was garbage at it lol)
There's a couple frustrating rhythm QTE sections but the game is so generous with checkpoints that I didn't really mind.
Just a banger from start to finish, wanted to celebrate that it was one of the few good american AAA games I've played recently, but unfortunately it's not American made.
