What is there to say about Skyrim that hasn’t already? A decade later and it is still as fun as ever, even if some of the systems and visuals have become a little dated.

A cultural event upon release, I find it difficult to find someone who hasn’t played it. With hundreds of hours that always end in a stealth archer build, Skyrim has kept me engaged, captivated and coming back to a time when open world discovery still had all its shine.

Disco Elysium is like nothing that comes before it - or at very least improves and changes it so much that you aren’t sure what to expect. More than a story, the narrative puts the player in a spot to choose the weird options, to fail to succeed, and spins joyous, nihilistic and strange into every moment. A game that still talks to me like the many voices Harry hears, I’ll be singing praise of this one for some time to come.
