Honestly I was super shocked at how much I enjoyed this game. It's surprisingly scary; probably just as scary as the first one, it's simulator stuff was pretty neat, and it's a pretty good ending to this serie's really convoluted and messy story. Plus it was free so come on what's wrong with getting cool stuff for free.

After a long string of sequels that were pretty much the same game; Scott buckled down and for the first time in 12 months, a new FNAF game. and it's pretty good for the most part.

I admire the attempt more than the actual game itself, at least he took the game down and now gives it away for free. That's honestly a chad move.

FNAF 4 is probably the most traditionally scary of the series, in that it uses pitch-black darkness which is a natural fear of humans, other than that I don't really care for the rest of the game. The Nightmare animatronics just look too over the top to be really frightening, and this is when the lore started becoming incomprehensible unless you watched pretty much every Game Theory video.

I've been really tough to this over the years and in all honesty I don't really hate this game. But it does feel like the worst type of sequal, just the same game but with less ability to save yourself.
Oh well, at least the withered version look cool as fuck.
