The only reason I don't weight this score lower is because playing Symphony of the Night portably was the reason I booted this game up again and again. If it was only the Rondo of Blood remaster it might be a 1-star. The graphics make the game look a lot duller than the PC Engine original and there's little to no gameplay change. Which results in a classic style Castlevania with the difficulty of the original entries but none of the charm.
