New Release Review: (Very very minor spoilers)

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is a worthy title in the long-running series. While it did not reinvent the wheel for the series, it is a great appetizer for what is coming. The gameplay feels a little watered down compared to the others, however it was still fun to beat up yakuza in a cinematic fashion. The open world activities were very hit or miss but I am thankful that the goofy Like a Dragon game modes were still included. In the beginning I had a rough time being interested in the story, however RGG flexed their writing skills and pulled me in halfway through. This allowed me to be emotionally unstable when the game reflected back on Kiryu’s journey, displaying his growth as a character. The game seamlessly merges Kiryu and Ichiban's storylines and sets up the next game. Overall, this game was an enjoyable experience. I will be honest, I think the price for this game is ‌‌a tad too much but if you have gamepass it is worth the visit. As a result, I give Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name a 7/10.
