It’s basically a remake of the first Castlevania, and it’s the straight up linear Castlevania format that I love.

The visuals are great, the mechanics tight (that 360 degree whip is especially unique) and the music brings all kinds of atmosphere (along with having some pretty rad tracks).

This really could have done with a direct sequel.
