RTS meets RPG combat!
Pros: really nice character art. Interesting and unique combat. 8 main chars have mostly good writing. Working Designs pop culture jokes/ grammatical standards.
Cons: Every other character than the 8 warriors of the Dragon Force have no relevance to the plot. Eg Cinna fights for Junon, Manoa fights for Teiris, they're sisters, but this relationship is never explored. The concept of "conqueor everyone" is a bit unrealistic when you all fight together at the end. Couldn't they just make some sort of Proto-U.N.? Less of an issue in Teiris's route which I played, and you can negoitiate more. A permanent mid battle save would be ideal. DF2 has this, but that game has many other issues. Overall the combat/art/music is good, but the story/characters are underdeveloped.
