It's almost as good as the first game, but a few things hold it back:
- The third act
- Miles plot and new powers
- The gadgets
- Miles' new suit

Some things it does better though, in my opinion, are:
- combat
- traversal
- MJ Missions are fucking awesome

Yeah it's disappointing. Unfortunately. I had high hopes. Might be a higher rating when I play it for myself.
