Just got back home from the campus and man, saying I'm tired is an understatement because I was there from 6 AM to 7 PM. Not to mention going to the campus takes at least an hour if there's no traffic jam. Now it's like 10 PM and I deadass don't know why I'm typing this rn. I didn't have a plan to do a write up for this game, but now i just feel like it because I have a lot to say for this garbage called Dark Souls II: Scholar of The First Sin.

Lemme just get to the point. This game sucks. It's fundamentally broken. This game basically copied everything from the first dark souls and stripped away all the goods. The gameplay is slow and sluggish. There's always a delay between each animation for no reason. It makes the game difficult with no justification besides the devs being stupid. The rolling animation also has an I-frame that needs to be upgrade. Like bro, rolling from an attack needs a precise timing and most players dont always land it perfectly and now you telling me to also buy 'i-frame'? It just doesn't make sense. The hit-boxes are terrible. I dunno how to describe it with words, but I suggest yall to see it on youtube. It feels so half finished and they didn't bother to fix it. By upgrading the 'i-frame', you can avoid those hit boxes, but imo, shits like this is supposed to be fixed.

The level design is super boring. It's basically a bland rip off of the first dark souls. There's no area or shortcut that blew my mind. The areas don't even connect that well. The first dark souls has seamless transition between area and it makes the game immersive and believable. Dark Souls 2 doesn't have this. It's like the devs just put anything under or above the hub world with no care as long as it's playable. Visually, it looks wayyyy worst than the other two dark souls. It's uninspiring and lazy. It's not rare to end up in a place that is just basically an empty room with no personality besides being a room that is accessible to exist inside it. The only thing that is visually stunning in this game is the hub world, but thats just it. Maybe if the devs put at least a half effort they gave to majula in other areas, this game would be more enjoyable to play.

Still in the level design.. man, the enemy placement is beyond terrible. Yeah Dark Souls games like I & III are known for its difficulty, but they are smart at challenging the players. This game is super lazy when it comes to challenges. The challenges are repetitive, boring, and NOT fun. They just spawn like 70 enemies in ONE area and they all try to kill you AT THE SAME TIME. Like bro? there's no breathing room in it. You are basically screwed. IM HONESTLY OK IF THIS HAPPENS IN ONE AREA OR TWO, BUT THIS IS LITERALLY IN EVERY AREA. The enemy placements are too overwhelming and it's repetitive. Did I mention how sluggish and slow the animations are in this game? yeah this ga

it's more than just being difficult. They crafted everything in the game with hearts. Dark Souls 2 feels like
