I know it’s fucking crazy saying this when I’m not even done with the game yet lmao, but yeah, pretty confident in saying this is my new favorite game ever. The dialogue is the most interesting and clever not just in video games, but also in any piece of fiction I’ve experienced, which that and the novel-like text helps to further develop each and every character in this game and make your conversations with them much more fun to go through. World-building here is also the best I’ve seen in any video game, and I love how it was handled in the game where choosing specific dialogue options while interacting with the different things in the game’s world allows you to learn more about the sort of history regarding the thing or character you’re interacting with. Like I’ve seen many others say, this is less a normal murder mystery, and more so a game about learning more about its world and the really deep and personal moments between each character, and I fucking love that. Can’t wait to finish this.
