I've already said plenty about Xenoblade Chronicles a while back, so I won't touch on much here. Future Connected is a nice little epilogue to the main story, although it feels more like a character arc that went unfinished.

It tells a story about Shulk and Melia fighting off the Fog King, a mysterious entity that appears through a rift in the sky. And while the adventure itself definitely felt generic, it's the callbacks to the main game's story that kept be engaged. Aside from all of that, the change in combat is pretty nice too. The addition of the ponspectors and the way they pretty much boost your team's abilities is a fun way to encourage doing more sidequests.

This is great additional content to the base game, and nothing more. It's there for those who enjoyed Xenoblade Chronicles's story and desire a little more time with these characters. And, best of all, it's a short, yet dense JRPG.
