I enjoyed Jetpac, so it's cool to see a follow-up that expands on the idea of a hovering arcade shooter. Unfortunately, Lunar Jetman just doesn't cut it.

This time, we're introduced to side-scrolling exploration, limited fuel, and a space rover. It's all nice on paper, but with little to no explanation (which wasn't really needed in the original game), players will get confused very quickly. How was I supposed to know you can enter the rover and travel around the surface without wasting fuel? And how was I supposed to know you can fix holes in the ground by grabbing platforms from the rover?
In a way, it's overly ambitious and doesn't hit the same highs.
