Massive improvement on Castlevania the Adventure. Game feels better, the level designs are better, the bosses are better. Still doesn't end up among the best entries in the series but the game is essentially what I'd want from a Castlevania game on the gameboy. The Dracula fight in this game is the only thing where it sucks just as much as the last games fight.
