All the pieces are here to create one of my favorite genres of game, but the basic gameplay is just not all that fun for me. Grinding pick ups sucks, the combat is never all that fun, and I ended up using save states prior to the bosses and some difficult rooms because I felt the game was wasting my time. Looking forward to later entries in the series but this is not one I will likely come back to
