It's Thief Gold with 20 years of hindsight and bugfixes; of course it whips ass. I'm almost afraid to replay Thief 1 + 2 and realize this is better.

Certainly worth playing if dreary medieval atmosphere is your thing. Its brevity lets you overlook the jank.

Feels like the opening of a JRPG made into an entire game, for better and for worse. It's got charming vibes, but the gameplay feels insubstantial.
