I remember asking my friend to buy me this game in steam. He did, but I never played it though. ☠️
What didn't you like about it if you don't mind me asking?

lel based, a friend gifted me it too which is why I played it

I just didn't think the politics was interesting at all which they keep shoving down your throat every 5 seconds. They cut it down by a ton midway which was when I started enjoying the game a lot more but it's p much an inevitability with it. Also, a lot of the characters are just really obnoxious and overbearing too which I understand why they are (mostly) but it doesn't mean I have to be fine with it. Stuff like that just makes me feel annoyed because I'm p sick of a lot of these media popping up where people think being a snide asshole is "cool" and the whole thing just felt like that to me for the first couple hours of the game, and I honestly would've dropped the game right there it wasn't gifted to me by a good friend. Still, glad I stuck with it coz it was still a nice time all throughout and I really couldn't drop the game once I picked it back up again after 4 months to focus on it and clear it from my backlog.

That's fair, tbh I don't remember much of the politics stuff I thought that was side content but I could be misremembering. I much preferred the second half of this anyway too, and I thought the whole parts of the mind talking was way cooler than becoming an ancap or some shit lmao. Anyway I see what you mean, still cool you finished it but yeah, I really liked this game when I played it but I don't understand the whole "best fiction of all time" narrative people go with. I feel like those kind of reactions can set up expectations for things that they can't ever reach
yea some of the dialogue is still p fun especially with the cooler and more chill characters in the whole thing, especially Kim. I don't mind much what people think of it since I didn't really see much of it personally to be affected tbh. And yea, it was still a fun game for a good part of it anyway
