I believe this was actually the first Wii game I ever got, it was a present from one of my aunts.

It's funny because when I got this game, I was familiar with Mario and vaguely familiar with Sonic because of Sonic Riders, but I didn't know this was supposed to be a crossover and a big deal.

And...I guess it really isn't a big deal, because instead of an actual crossover this is what we got. It's fine, I don't really care that it is just a minigame collection, but this is one of the weaker ones.

I think this series would work a lot better if all of the events had a Mario or Sonic twist, like Mario does with his own sports games. Instead, only the dream events work like this, which is a letdown.

It's a fine game, but I don't think I will replay it over any of the other ones that came after.
