I despised this at first but in retrospect I just had a skill issue it really isn't awful. I still think it's overrated though. For starters the level design is all over the place. Some levels are extremely well designed while others (white acropolis, crisis city cough cough) are absolutely horrendous. The characters themselves control... fine, but every vehicle sucks. Sonic's snowboard, shadow's hovercraft, bike, and buggy, they're terrible. Combat is basic and repetitive. The soundtrack is great at least.
