Equal parts draining and beautiful.
The game's Silent Hill 2 influences are clear as can be, but it never lets itself be limited or dragged down by them. Its narrative and presentation make it its own thing through and through, and I love it for that.
All the puzzles were all tightly tied to the narrative in the best of ways, even if, sadly, most ended up as just the standard "find item to put in place" shtick--and only a handful proved to be any sort of challenge.
It also had some odd typos here and there (that I'm surprised still weren't patched) but nothing that could ever take away from the storytelling at play, or its accompanying atmosphere.

It's a striking piece of emotional horror that is guaranteed to stick with you, if you only allow it to.
