As far as survival horror dogs go, Hewie would kick Brown's ass.
I enjoyed this Clock Tower-esque gothic horror more than I thought. Much like Rule of Rose, there's a profound discomfort throughout as you play as the powerless heroine, Fiona. Considering you start the game practically naked, the horror and tension of the game comes from your character's physical and sexual vulnerability - Fiona is never safe with the untrustworthy characters she meets and you just know that there is likely foul, kinky ritual afoot.
It doesn't have the same atmosphere as the earlier Clock Tower titles but it certainly plays better than the majority and is Capcom's very decent alternative to the run-and-gun of Resident Evil.
