Still my favorite Pokémon game, while I only got around to playing the original WAY later in my life (cause it came out four days before I was even born) Pokémon Omega Ruby is a quality remake and for as much as I enjoyed them is in some areas I find to be a better remake than Brilliant Diamon or Shining Pearl, from the feel and design of the world/characters and how it looks, and adding in features found in X and Y, that being Pokémon-Amie, a feature that let's you develop strong bonds with your Pokémon, and Mega Evolution which I will die on the hill that this is one of the best and cool features that Game Freak ever added to a Pokémon game, and new features like being able to ride on Latias or Latios to destinations or the illusive Mirage Islands, and my favorite part being that they brought every single Pokémon up to that point to OR&AS, which I feel shows how they wanted this to be a great remake and game in its own right, Omega Ruby proved itself to be an extremally fun time for me and I recommend any Pokémon fans who never played it to give it a shot!
