A great take on the SRPG genre, the characters all feel unique in battle and most have ways to fit in on the various missions the game throws at you. There’s real challenge open to you if you want to search for it, but it’s not too punishing to make it frustrating. On top of that, the story is impactful and the first playthrough is a unique experience, although subsequent playthrough may change your view on things once you see how things tie together. I have very few gripes with the game, and I’m looking forward to more games in this genre as it seems to be making a resurgence.
