An instant classic in the series. Mirage was such a comfortable game to play and experience at launch. The gameplay was well rounded and the ability to Complete missions in the order of your choosing, unlock and upgrade tools, and explore a lush and dense 9th Century Baghdad were all great improvements on the classic style of the series.

I had a few interaction bugs where I would have to reload a save to talk to a merchant, but outside of that I had no issues.

The History of Baghdad codex was great as well as there is a lot of history to learn about in this era. Even more so as I played in the default Arabic for the immersion.

I plan on replaying in English in the future but enjoyed the story and the origin of Basim.
