Cassette Beasts was a great monster battler that is very reminiscent of Pokémon. With nearly 200 beasts to "record" and a really cool story that leans more to a sci-fi fantasy than a JRPG.
The world is comprised of people from multiple worlds being pulled into a limbo like dimension where people have lived for years and have developed a life around the beasts and what they have brought into this bizarre world.
The designs for the beasts are really cool and the "remaster" system is good with new beasts discovered throughout the world.
There is a DLC on the way and I may grab that down the line. It would be cool to see some kind of sequel with more mechanics and Cassette Beasts .
