Yeah this made me more aware of the games performance issues and how certain puzzles don't have good sensibilities, but it's still the same game. And the ending really adds another layer to Alan as it makes him reflect on what he has done throughout the game and come out with a new understanding. Not just of the Dark Place, but of who he is as a character and his place in this story now that he's a co-protagonist. It brings up a lot of interesting stuff that can be expanded upon. Also knowing what happens makes prepping for stuff so much easier and the combat becomes more manageable.
