This was a wafer of a Pokémon game. Still, I'll take a lack of substance when the alternative is constant interruptions and hand-holding. Don't get me wrong, this game is easy, horrendously balanced as it is around its exp. share, but at least I got to take it at my own pace. It didn't fuck around too much, and that was refreshing, even if the region doesn't leave much of an impression outside of a couple standout moments. That cliffside in West Kalos is just a lovely bit of geography.

Oh, and pixel-art > shitty 3D models anyday, though I guess they can have Pokémon in the overworld in newer games now, which I do like.
