doesn't really do that much to separate itself from other platformers of the time, but it does its job fairly well. the controls are tight, level design is fine, it spices things up with vehicle sections that don't overstay their welcome, and most the bosses are pretty decent... but some do drag out, and while you do only get 3 lives at a time, the continues are unlimited and wont really set you back far. the enemy placement can at times be a little bs, but the game never sets you back far enough to be frustrating, usually just to the beginning of the stage, which makes the limited lives almost confusing because levels dont have checkpoints, which is fine because they're very short
i can see this game almost being a classic if it ever came to the west, if you like 16 bit platformers, its worth a go and theres even an english patch out there, i got mine on cdromance
