A modern emulation port of an impeccable platformer full of wit and charm giving a fantastic experience through and through that is only overshadowed by its sequels that make up the trilogy. Instead of speaking about the game itself, I'll review the quality of the port.

First of all, its indeed a fine way to experience the game if you don't want to tackle emulation or don't have a means to play it in its original hardware. Offers some nice improvements, like a rewind feature and button mapping (a godsend for this game camera's controls) but I also it kind of feels there was room for improvements to its presentation, like scaling the game to a higher resolution or maybe 16:9 screen support for the gameplay aspects. There were also two major graphical bugs in my play through but nothing that takes away from the experience.

Overall, it's a nice a way to experience this classic with some added extras for people who haven't experienced or want to replay.
