Yoshi’s Island is a very technically impressive game with an absurd amount of content for its time. However, I feel like that abundance of content doesn’t always work it’s favor for me personally. The game really started to drag around the fourth world and finishing it started to feel more like a chore than something I was really enjoying.

With that said, I still think the game is good overall. It has such a fun and unique look and sound with some surprisingly polished controls too. Moving Yoshi around is fun, though I wish the stages themselves were generally a bit more fast paced to complement that better.

In conclusion: Wooly World is better don’t @ me
