The supposed granddaddy of all platformers games is... an interesting curio, to say the least. I can see what they were going for with this, but jankiness and design sensibilities that simply weren't there at the time REALLY hold it back. It's only really interesting from a historical perspective, and skipping that, Universal's later game, Mr. Do's Castle, is pretty much a more refined and fun version of the ideas at play here.
